Winter Long Training PlayList

Start your 2026 Resolutions with riding more LONG routes!
If you typically stick to the Medium routes, and want to get stronger and go farther, we are mixing up our Saturday rides to feature Long Rides sorted by Climb Factor, and then length for the 1st 3 months of 2026.
Starting in January, and at least through March, for Saturdays, we will start with the flatter (CF1) rides, in order of DISTANCE:
Choose the long routes and each week will offer more climbing (feet per mile) and more miles.

January’s 5 Saturdays will have EASY CF1 rides:
Jan 3 #18 Long @ 37.7 miles, CF1
Jan 10 #37+ Long with 42.9 miles, CF1
Jan 17 #01 with 43.1 miles, CF1
Jan 24 #37+ Long Plus with 47.9 miles, CF1 and then move up to CF2 with
Jan 31 #36+ Long with 45.5 miles at CF2
February look forward to these CF2 & CF3 routes:
Feb 7 #34 Long with 46.4 miles, CF2
Feb 14 #15 Long with 37.1 miles, CF3
Feb 21 #33 Long with 37.9 miles, CF3
Feb 28 #03 Long with 37.1 miles, CF3
March:

Mar 7 #06 Long with 38.0 miles, CF3
Mar 14 #24 Long with 39.6 miles, CF3
Mar 21 #04 Long with 41.2 miles, CF3
Mar 28 #17 Long with 40.2 miles, CF4

If you are not familar with our CF ratings - see this post:
Essentially a “CF1” only climbs 10 to 19.99 feet per mile across the entire distance of the route.
A “CF2” climbs 20 to <30 feet per mile of route.
Divide the total feet climbed (according to the plot by RideWithGPS - your elevation may differ!) by the total miles to get a factor - then take the first integer -ie 23.4’/m = CF2
A CF0 would be less than 10 feet of climb per mile and basically “flat”. a CF6 or CF7 is a LOT of climbing. Some of our elite training routes in our Ride Banks have as high as CF9!
