How do I know the route?
Go to BikeIrvine.org and click the graphic, “Next Rides & Events.” Or use the Calendar.
Choose a ride and check out the route slip using either the hyperlinked name or the printer graphic. The printable pdf lists routes for the different distances. Many riders clip the route slip to their handlebars. *There will not be pre-printed routes available at the park.
You can also upload the route to your GPS device by clicking the hyperlinked RideWithGPS link.
What should I bring?
You should wear a helmet to protect that brain of yours.
Bring 1-2 water bottles filled with water to keep hydrated.
Bring ID in case you’re in an accident.
Bring what you need to fix a flat. That may include tire levers, pump, extra tube & patch kit or plugs for tubeless tires.
Rider Expectations:
All riders must obey traffic laws and use hand signals. See Etiquette.
All riders should feel welcome, have the best possible experience, and follow BCI’s Code of Conduct.
Riders should be aware of safety practices. Please review the Club Essentials offered for free by CyclingSavvy.
