On Saturday, October 11th, seventeen members of Team BCI came out for the 9th annual UC Irvine Anti-Cancer Challenge. This was our largest member participation and fundraising since BCI entered a team in 2017. Team BCI collectively raised $2,707. The Team captain was once again Deby Six. And we had our first VIP rider, Kathy Shapiro. The rides included 14, 35, 60, and 100 mile cycling routes, a mountain bike route, a 5K run/walk, and a wellness festival at UC Irvine’s Aldrich Park. The lively festival at the finish line included lunch, live musical entertainment, a VIP lounge, and awards.
