FAQ

  • While GPS bike computers (like Garmin and Wahoo models) are very popular, you do not need one. You can capture a ride using the Strava App on your smart phone. A ride can also be manually entered using your home computer. The Ride With GPS App on your phone can capture your ride, which can be “sent” automatically to Strava. Garmin and Wahoo on-bike GPS units can also do this. The Ride With GPS website will also let you upload and post to Strava after your ride.

  • Yes. Log into your Challenge Hound account. Click Activities on your screen. You may add one activity at a time. Be honest!

  • It’s never too late to join: You can back date your rides to January 1st. Once you connect an app, ie Strava & Challenge Hound will automatically sync applicable activities back to the beginning of the year if you were on Strava, so there is no need to manually enter. If not, you can manually enter your past rides.

  • Yes, from the Challenge Hound Apps page But select only one of the supported apps to avoid duplication of results. Challenge Hound currently supports Under Armour (Map My Run, Map My Walk, Map My Hike, Map My Ride, etc), Strava, Garmin, Fitbit and Coros.
