Can you believe it’s almost the holidays again?  That means it’s time to impress your BCI friends with your culinary skills and come join us at the BCI Holiday Potluck on November 23rd !

We are supporting two charities this year, Families Forward and The Bicycle Tree.  In addition to your potluck dish, we ask that attendees bring items to donate to either or both of these local organizations.

Families Forward is a nonprofit organization that assists families in Orange County who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.  They appreciate donations of gift cards, toys or other items.

Here is information about the items they especially need this year: https://tinyurl.com/

“Families Forward uses extra toy donations to fill gift bags for families who have yet to be adopted. Click here for a complete list of toys that we most commonly give to children during the holiday season. We especially need gifts for teens and gifts for boys over the age of 10.”

The Bicycle Tree is a nonprofit community bike center and shop in Santa Ana.  One of their missions is to refurbish bikes and donate them to those in need.  They collect used bicycles, bicycle parts, gently worn cycling clothes and accessories for this purpose.  Clean out a closet or garage & bring it along!

Thank you in advance for your generosity.  We look forward to seeing you at the holiday party!

2015's Feast

Please RSVP your attendance.  Email potluck@bikeirvine.org with guests' names, and what you are bringing to share.
Potlucks work best if you bring as much as you can eat, but in a shareable format ( ie: small bites, spoon a taste ) If you bring too much there will be too much left over!  If you bring a soup or other dish that requires a bowl, please bring disposable bowls for guests to use.
Remember: If you bring your own plate, bowl & utensils we won’t have to use as many single use items to throw away, but they will be available. We will have soft beverages but BYOB or wine if you prefer adult beverage.
