2007 BCI Annual Banquet

BCI’s annual banquet was held on January 27th at the Laguna Hills Community Center.  It was BCI’s 26th annual banquet and over 100 members attended the enjoyable event.  Delicious Italian food was served, a slide show was displayed and attendees participated in a raffle for great bicycle related items. 

During the official program several members where awarded certificates for mileage accrued over the past year and service to the club.  The Broken Crank award was presented to Steve Devore for amassing 4979 miles over 128 rides and the Spirit Award was given to Norm Moyer for his seven years of dedicated service as BCI’s ride coordinator. 

Lastly, two new board members were voted into office for the upcoming year.    Mike Weber will take over for Norm Moyer as the new Ride Coordinator.  Mary Uffelman will replace Monica McCarthy as Membership Director thus allowing Monica to concentrate on her other board position as BCI Secretary.
