Since we want more people to use the Forum, would it be helpful to have a simple "How to Post to the Forum" on the website?

Just log in;

If you joined BCI, or renewed, and have an email address, I already set you up with your real name & a password !

If you forgot, ask me ( mailto:database@bikeirvine.org ) & I will look you up in a day or so, unless I am on vacation when you need me!

If you log in, you will see several topic areas; read through the Guidelines first, then read everything posted in each area & click the Post a Reply button to add you reaction, respones, questions, what ever!

You will see Profile above as well - click there & you can post a picture or avatar like you see of me and Patrice in this 'string' or change your password, or add a signature to every post you make; in no time you will be adding pictures 7 bold facing words... and if you mess up, you can go back & delete or edit your own posts!

JOIN THE FUN!

There was a daily rash of guest posted lists of links to offensive & porno sites. Some even posted graphic pictures here!

We also got several attempts every day to join from folks who do not use a real name and / or do not let us know who they are or why they want to join. We deleted them every few days as well and never authorize their forum membership.

As a result we had to close the forum to members only, and those who contacted us and explained why they wanted to join the forum.

You DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER OR LOG IN to just read the forum - you only need to register or login to POST something!
