The Santa Ana Parkway Community Workshop in Yorba Linda has been rescheduled to April 8th. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the workshop will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
The Workshop on April 13th in Anaheim will be held as originally scheduled. Same topic, info and times...

GET INVOLVED
Community involvement will play a key role in planning the Santa Ana River Parkway extension. The community will have several opportunities to learn about the project, to discuss key concerns, to have questions answered, and to provide input on some of the design considerations and options. See below for opportunities to get involved.

Community Workshops (April 8th and 13th, 2010): These workshops will give the community an opportunity to learn more about the Santa Ana River Parkway, ask questions, and provide input.

Open House (date to be determined): Residents and stakeholders will have the opportunity to view and comment on the options for the project, ask questions and provide their input.
How is the project being funded?
The project will be funded from the sale of general obligation bonds from a 2006 voter-approved initiative statue known as Proposition 84.
When will construction begin?
The Orange County portion of the Santa Ana River Parkway project includes 3 phases:
Phase I- Engineer’s Report and Alignment Study- scheduled completion December 2010
Phase II – Prepare plans and specifications, and environmental documentation – estimated completion December 2012-2013
Phase III – Construction – estimated completion 2014-2015 |
