Looks like the Summer Solstice and Fathers Day are the same weekend...
(Solstice is June 20th at 10:45 PM)
So we will celebrate the start of another Summer Season the week before; ( & possibly beat some Summer Motel crowds!...)
Ramona has coordinated the luggage truck,
Mike & Bill got the route revised,
Tommie, although she can't join us this year, had secured 45 rooms @ the Motel 6 in Carlsbad,
Bill, Cathy & Allison will handle the poolside dinner, (Pizza, Salad, Spaghetti)
Bill will handle registration...
All you need to do is book a room by May 13th,
sign up by June 1st & join the fun June 13th!
If you signed up you should verify that you are on the list at www.sellin.com/solstice/XIX/who.html
Reminders:
~We do NOT ride from Deerfield - and we start at 8am...
~It will help with food shopping if you let us know you plan to attend by June 1st.
~Bring 1 folding chair to put on the truck or you may have to sit on the ground for dinner; Chairs are limited at Motel6!

Unfortunately we scheduled a week earlier than usual this year & have conflicted with the great & popular OCW Ride Around The Bear!
Many BCI members love 'The Bear" and will do it,
Others are not up for the challenge & will enjoy our Solstice tour...
We apologize to anyone who wanted to do both, and has to make a choice, but hope you will join us! |
