The Bicycle Club of Irvine

One of my co-workers called me the other day and her son is in a Boy Scout troop in Irvine. They are in urgent need of a counselor for their Bicycling Merit Badge. At least some guidance. If I was closer to Irvine, I wouldn't mind helping out. I was a merit badge counselor for about ten years for Bicycling and about nine other badges.

Any input would be appreciated. If you know of a counselor, that would be great. They are having difficulty finding a counselor through their own BSA Council down there. I'm going to suggest that one or two of the parents JOIN BCI and learn the basics via Newbie Rides and more, and then they can better counsel the boys.
