Would someone recommend safe routes from east Irvine (Jeffery & Bryan) to Diamond Bar (Brea Canyon Rd & Diamond Bar Blvd)?

By the way, what is % grade on Brea Cayon Rd?

Out of Irvine get over to the Santa Ana River Trail and exit Lakeview North up to Bastanchury Westbound to Rose Northbound. Rose will turn into Birch Street in Brea, continue Westbound to State College North, State College will turn into Central and this will get you to Brea Blvd make a Right and this will turn into Brea Canyon. Don't know the grade cause we come back this way, we take Carbon Canyon out to get to Glendora Mountan Road (GMR)...hope this helps, ride safely...Colnago/Edwards.
